Micro-credentials are small, accredited courses designed to meet the demands of learners, enterprise and organisations, created by Irish Universities Association (IUA) partner universities in consultation with enterprise. Micro-credentials provide learning opportunities that offer a highly flexible, bite-sized, and accessible way of upskilling and reskilling. Janice Mulvany Glennon is the lead for the MicroCreds project at the university and with her colleague David Stafford, the CELT staff and the academics developing the Micro-credentials, they have launched a series of Podcast interviews explaining what these Micro-credentials are about.
